Dear Settlers,

Virgin Media is currently having som technical issues which means that most people using them as an internet service provider (ISP) will have problems accessing the game.

If you are experiencing this, please read the following !

Here are some guidelines to a temporary solution given by Virgin Media:

Please make sure that you make a note of any existing proxy settings first!

Clear your internet browser history, cache, cookies and temp files, making sure you are not on the main TSO page at the time.

This only works with either Internet Explorer or FireFox. Chrome users will not be able to configure a proxy.

The proxy to use is : webcache.virginmedia.com

The port number is : 8080

How to set up proxy in Internet Explorer

Step 1 On the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, click Internet Options, click the Connections tab, and then click LAN Settings.

Step 2 Under Proxy server, click to select the Use a proxy server for your LAN check box.

Step 3 In the Address box, type the IP address of the proxy server. (e.g. proxy.abc.com or 202.188.17.24)

Step 4 In the Port box, type the port number that is used by the proxy server for client connections (by default, 8080).

Step 5 You can click to select the Bypass proxy server for local addresses check box if you do not want the proxy server computer to be used when you connect to a computer on the local network.

Step 6 Click OK to close the LAN Settings dialog box.

Step 7 Click OK again to close the Internet Options dialog box.

Proxy for Firefox

To enable proxy settings in Firefox

Select Tools -> Options. ( In some Firefox browser's you have to go to Edit>Preferences usually in LInux )

Select Advanced.

Open the Network tab.

In 'Connections' area click 'Settings' button.

Select Manual Proxy Configuration radio button.

In the necessary proxy field(s), put the same settings in the HTTP field then

Click 'OK'

Dear Settlers,

We have started sending out the codes to redeem your rewards from the test server event!

Once you have the code you can get you rewards by redeeming the code on the main page of the website (click on the "voucher" banner in the menu). Remember, it can take some time for all the codes to arrive.

Please note that you will only receive the email if you have validated the email address you used on the test server and activated the newsletter option. If you are a Facebook user, you will not receive an email if you've used the anonymous proxy option.

If you have done all the above and haven't received the email, please check your spam folder and then contact Support for help.

Dear Settlers,

We have decided to send the codes that you earned during the Stress-Test event next week (approximately on Wednesday) in order to give you the time to make sure you've verified your e-mail and activated the Newsletters in your profile on the test-server account you used.

Remember: the codes will be sent to the email address you used to access the test-server, so it is crucial that you check your profile on that server. 

You will of course be able to redeem the code on your original account once you've received it ;)

Thank you for participating in our Test-Race!

It was so successful that we have actually reached the limit of concurrent players the server could take (this explains the connection issues many of you had). But despite any issues you may have had loging in, you will get the rewards of course!

• Everyone who actively tried to participate in the stress test is listed to get all 6 rewards
• This includes everyone who was waiting to login during peak times

Important: the reward code will be sent to the email address you used to access the test server (approx. on Friday) if you had previously agreed to recieve emails from the test server. It can of course be redeemed on your regular game account..

Please remember that this is the end of the Spring Event (Easter Event) and that you will no longer be able to buy items in the shop in exchange for eggs. If you have an Easter adventure that was started but not finished, make sure you finish it quickly as it will no longer be possible after the maintenance.

Keep in Mind that the stress test of the staging system starts tomorrow. The first round starts on Tuesday: Between 10 and 12 o’ clock (CET) you need to achieve a minimum of 800 concurrently active players!
